mega-rare 1950s Telefunken TEST PRESSING feat. Ludwig Hoelscher's legendary performance of the Chopin and Mendelssohn cello sonatas !!
rare German first press vinyl LP produced in the 1950s for testing purpose at the Nortorf TELEFUNKEN factory - this is the very first run on purple/gold label with catalognumber BLE 14116.
Beautiful generic Telefunken cover states "Eigentum der TELDEC >>TELEFUNKEN DECCA<< Schallplatten GmbH", and "Fabrik Nortorf", which translates into "Property of the Telefunken Record Inc." and "Factory Nortorf" ... The blue/gold labels have numbered production stickers, stating the timing of the tracks.
Cover and vinyl in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - best copy I have seen in many years.
